THE MEDIEVAL ROUTES

The medieval route is composed in 8 parts:
1: CASTELLARNAU HOUSE: It is localizeted in the ill part of the tarragona city. Here there are a lot of palaces and church residences.
2: THE CATHEDRAL: It is building in 1171.
3: SANTA TECLA HOESPITAL: Preserves the facade of the building of the twelfth century to the fourteenth century.
4: THE OLD MARKET: is the old market medieval area.
5: THE MODERN MUSEUM.
6: JEUIS QUARTER.
7: THE CASTEL.
8: SANT ANTONI.

ROMAN ROUTE

In Tarragona have the route ROMAN.
The monuments in this route are:







1.WALLS: The oldest building of Roman Tarragona are the walls, since they date back to the founding of the military camp or the period immediately following initial .



2.THEATRE: The construction of the contemporary theater was the forum of the city late August, and the location was chosen a place close to this, although femoral, and a strong natural slope.


3.CIRCUS: The Provincial Forum was complemented by the circus, built during the reign of Domitian and destined to chariot races.

PRESENTATION

Hello, we are Marta, Júlia, Clàudia and Carla.
We talk about the Tarragones and explain the territory, the beaches, the Port Aventura, the food, the arts, the sports and the tourism.
And we explain two routes in Tarragona.
We liked Tarragona because it very nice, interesting and has a lot of things. Example: the beaches, the cities and the Roman monuments.

TERRITORY

This post is about the situation of the Tarragonés in Catalunya:



Tarragonés is next to the coast and it has got thirty-six beaches and are a lot!!


In Tarragonés has got an extension of 317 km2 and there are 180.000 hab.
The capital of the Tarragonés is Tarragona, there are 111.000 hab.

And there are a lot of atractions of monuments.

DAURADA COAST

Climate

Costa Daurada is graced with a Mediterranean climate, marked by mild winters and warm summers with little rain.

The region's mountainous geography likewise contributes to its stable climate, making it an optimum place to enjoy outdoor activities all year long. Average temperatures range from approximately 14º in winter to between 21º and 29º in summer. However, it is worth noting the sharp contrast between the region's coastal and mountain areas, where average temperatures are generally 2º to 4º lower.

Rainfall is concentrated in autumn and, above all, spring, although short, heavy showers are common in summer.

SALOU



Salou is a town and municipality of the Tarragonès. Throughout the twentieth century, Salou became a major tourist center, which consolidates current status in part thanks to the Port Aventura theme park, located on the outskirts of the town. Now explain the beachs of Salou.


-Llevant beach:

CAMBRILS

Cambrils is a municipality of the Baix Camp. Traditionally been considered to consist of two nuclei, the town and port. Today these two cores are fully integrated, due to urban growth.Cambrils constated so much beaches, but we can write the important beaches:

-Regueral Beach: The longest beach is called "The Regueral" alongside the club Marina of Cambrils.

-Calvet Beach: Continuing towards the beach of Salou find "The Cavet" which is popular promenade on sunny days.

-Sant Pere cape: Then walk along the beach Vilafortuny to finish at the beach of Cap de Sant Pere.

AMPOLLA

Ampolla is a village and his village has an history.And she has one arm:

HISTORY:
The ampolla is a municipality of catalonia, Spain.

CULTURE:
The Ampolla celebrates his main party the 24 of June.

ECONOMY:
In the municipal term of the Ampolla find located eight beaches, what has converted to the municipality in a turistic destination.

AMETLLA DE MAR

PORT AVENTURA

PortAventura is a theme park in the resort of Portaventura. In 1997, Universal bought up most shares in the park and the park was rebranded as 'Universal's Port Aventura'. In 2000, two hotels and a water park were constructed, and the place was further rebranded as 'Universal Mediteranea'. In 2004, NBC Universal (Universal Studios' parent) sold all interest in PortAventura. It is now owned and operated by the Caixa banking group's investment vehicle Criteria, but as of 2005 the Universal name has been dropped from the branding, and the resort was once again named 'PortAventura' (the space in the name is deliberately left out for trademark reasons). It is the biggest resort in the south of Europe. It has 2 airports within 30 minutes of it, including Reus Airport. There is a train station for PortAventura which has connections to Barcelona and Salou.

FOOD

The calçotada

Reus Sport is a sports club in the city of Reus. It is especially known for its roller hockey section, winner of seven European Cups among other titles.

MONUMENTS

In Tarragonés there are a lot of monuments but we are going to describe two.

·Amphitheatre:
